ONLINE PAYMENT TERMS & CONDITIONS  

 
 

Introduction  


Geochem Middle East (Geochem) is happy to introduce for the convenience of its clients/ customers the payment of Geochem service fees online through the clients/ customers credit card to the Bank A/c of Geochem Middle East.

The following terms and conditions govern such payments:

1. Clients are expected to pay the full service fees as per the invoice issued by Geochem Middle East (Geochem) and in case partial payment is made through credit card, a separate email requires to be notified to Geochem acknowledging /confirming the balance to be paid by the Client through other means.

2. The payments by the client are non-transferable, non-negotiable and have to be paid by the Client himself.

3. It is advisable that the client initially (one time) notifies Geochem vide email on accounts@geochemglobal.com the Credit card details that it shall use for the payment of the service fees.

4.Incomplete / rejected / invalid / returned /disputed or unauthorized/fraudulent transactions will not be considered as payment made by the Client and shall be notified to the Client by Geochem once it is aware of such transactions.

5. Geochem will not be responsible or liable in case the payment by the Clients that are lost/ missing due to malfunction, delay, traffic congestion on any telephone network or line, computer on-line system, servers or providers, computer equipment, software, or website.

6. Geochem shall not be held liable by Clients for any delay or loss that may be caused in payments of Service fees by the Clients.

7. Any query regarding the payment by the Client could be invoked by it in the email ID provided here and correspondence or communication regarding any grievance will be entertained in the email only by Geochem.

8. Any dispute or claim regarding the payment of Service fees will be resolved by the Clients/ Cardholders with Geochem, directly without any reference to third party or the Bank. Bank shall not entertain any such disputes if the Cardholder approaches for resolution of the same.

9. Any dispute relating to the payments or the terms and conditions herein shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Emirates of Dubai only.

10 Any taxes, duties, levies or liabilities or charges payable to the Government or any other authority or body, if any, shall be borne directly by Cardholder and/ or billed to the account of the Cardholder and Geochem shall not be liable in any manner whatsoever for any such taxes, duties, levies or other statutory dues.

11. The T&C mentioned herein shall be in addition and not be in derogation with the terms and conditions contained in Cardholder Agreement and all other terms and conditions of the Cardholder Agreement shall continue to apply.

12 Geochem reserve their absolute right at any time to add, alter, withdraw, modify or change or vary any or all the terms and conditions of this Terms and Conditions at its sole discretion and the same shall be binding on the Cardholder at all times. Such changes effected, if any will be brought to the notice of Clients by generic email by Geochem. 

13 The terms and conditions shall be subject to all applicable laws, rules and regulations which are in existence and which may be promulgated anytime by any statutory authority.

14. Payment of the service fees by the Clients to Geochem vide Credit Card is voluntary and is for the convenience of the Service Providers only.

15. Geochem shall not be liable for any failure by Client’s Credit card to honour the transaction of the Clients and for any technical issues on the part of its Bank as a result of which the transaction made by the Cardholder was not successful. Such payments shall remain as Client’s outstanding until the payment is made to Geochem.

16. Cardholder hereby agrees to indemnify and keep Geochem harmless against all damages, liabilities, costs, expenses, claims, suits and proceedings (including reasonable attorney's fee) that may be suffered by Geochem as a consequence of (i) violation of these T&C; (ii) violation of applicable laws; (iii) any action or inaction resulting in wilful misconduct or negligence, by the Client/ Cardholder.

17. This document is an electronic record in terms of Information Technology Act, UAE and the Rules there under as applicable and the amended provisions pertaining to electronic records in various statutes as amended by the Information Technology Act, UAE. This electronic record is generated by a computer system and does not require any physical or digital signatures.

18. In the event of payment duplication (i.e. double payment for the single service effected) by the Cardholder due to error, technical or other reasons it is required by the Card Holder/ Client to notify this information with details to Geochem vide email within a reasonable period from the date of the said transaction so that Geochem can initiate repayment (debit) of the excess amount to the Client that it has been credited with. Further in the event the Client after making advance (Full or partial) payment through credit card to Geochem afterwards for any reasons cancels the job and request for the return of the advance, Geochem shall return the payment it received after deducting the remittance fees, if any, that it has incurred in the refunding transaction.

19. The contact / Help desk details of Geochem of the credit card payment for the services provided are dedicated email ID accounts@geochemglobal.com, Phone No +97148867400 and contact person shall be Mr. C.K. Paramesh for the purpose of resolution of any matters related to the Credit card issuesincluding registering complaint, for the Clients.

20. Geochem shall provide separately a payment acknowledgment in the prefixed form and manner for the payment of the service fees paid by the Clients vide Credit card as attachment in the email ID provided by the Client for this purpose. 

Privacy Policy

21. When Client enters into the site of Geochem for payment of service fees through credit card, Geochem will collect the personal information of the Client such as the name and email address and other details as may be required for providing the services.

22.Geochem may disclose Client’s personal information if it is required by law to do so or if Client violates the Terms of Service elaborated herein.

23. Client's data is stored in data storage, databases and may be stored in specific application made for this purpose of catering credit services. The Client data will remain in secure server behind a firewall.

24. The client making payment on Geochem site for which third party payment processor are drawn in and the payments are encrypted through the appropriate industry standard Data Security Standard. All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and other major credit cards.

Limitations

Third Party Services

25. Third-party providers used by Geochem may collect, use and disclose Client information to the extent necessary to allow these entities to perform the services which they are required to provide to Geochem. Certain third-party service providers, such as payment gateways and other payment transaction processors, have their own privacy policies in respect to the information that Geochem is required to provide to them for the credit card payment transactions of the client.

26.Once Client leave our course website or are redirected to a third-party website or application, Clients are no longer governed by Geochem Privacy Policy and the Terms of Service. When Client clicks on links on Geochem site, it may direct Client away from Geochem site. Geochem is not responsible for the privacy practices of other sites.
